Key Message

First, EITC is the only conference of North American Chinese-Americans tech-titans. These are outstanding individuals who have made a name for themselves in the past several decades in different fields of high-technology. This group of outstanding individuals will be under ONE roof for participants to interact with.

Second, EITC  is NOT just a conference on the "state-of-the-art" of high technology, but rather the "interface" between the major topics of the conference. We all know that often the most exciting discoveries could arise from the interfaces.

Third, EITC is a conference in which speakers will also offer their expert views about the directions of technology development in the coming decades. Since the topics to be cover could/may affect profoundly the economics and maybe even the geopolitics (after all, energy track will for sure has such an implication,) speakers will project into the future.

Fourth, EITC  will be a conference which will give the "common person" a sense of how he/she is connected to this development.

---Da Hsuan Feng, Ph.D., Vice President for Research and Economic Development, University of Texas at Dallas
